Product Kiosks & hardware
Kiosks & hardware
Dispensary kiosks and menu hardware, synced to your POS.
A kiosk is only as good as the data behind it. GreenScreens turns an Android tablet or an iPad into a browse-the-menu kiosk and any TV into a menu board, all reading live inventory from Dutchie, Flowhub, BLAZE, GrowFlow, and 20+ other cannabis POS systems — on hardware you can buy locally today. Here’s which screen does what, what to run each one on, and what it costs.
Per TV screen, roughly
A streaming stick such as Walmart's Onn turns any TV into a managed menu board. TVs with Google TV need nothing at all.
Proprietary media players
No vendor box to buy, ship, or replace per screen. Bring the TVs and tablets you already own.
Zones per screen
Menu, deals, a promo video, and the wait queue on one display — the same engine on a tablet or a video wall.
Three kinds of screen
“Dispensary kiosk” means three different things.
Ordering kiosks, menu kiosks, and TV menu boards are different purchases that run on different hardware. Most stores end up with two of them; plenty run all three.
Your POS vendor's product
Ordering kiosk.
Customers build a cart and sometimes pay. Dutchie Kiosk, Flowhub Kiosk, and BLAZE Self-Serve Kiosk are examples — each runs on the hardware its vendor specifies, because it carries a cart and a payment flow. GreenScreens does not make one; it runs beside yours.
GreenScreens — Dispensary+
Menu kiosk / tablet.
A browse-the-menu screen on the counter or a stand: strains, prices, THC/CBD, dominance, stock — live from your POS, no cart. It runs on an Android tablet or an iPad locked in kiosk mode and reads the same sync as your TV boards, so the tablet, the wall, and the register always agree.
GreenScreens — any plan
TV menu board.
The wall screen behind the counter. It displays a page and takes no input, so it runs on the lightest hardware in the store: a TV with Google TV runs the GreenScreens app directly, and any other TV takes a ~$20 streaming stick or a Fire TV device.
What to run it on
The best hardware for a dispensary kiosk or menu board.
Only hardware GreenScreens runs on today, plus the ordering-kiosk requirements the POS vendors publish themselves. Nothing here is proprietary and nothing has to be shipped to you.
| Screen | Runs on | Hardware cost | Where GreenScreens fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| TV menu board | Any TV with Google TV and the Play Store — the GreenScreens app installs directly. | Nothing extra | Dispensary Starter ($150/mo, unlimited screens) or Dispensary+ |
| TV menu board (any other TV) | A ~$20 Google TV streaming stick such as Walmart's Onn, or a Fire TV device, on the HDMI port. | About $20 per screen | Dispensary Starter or Dispensary+ |
| Menu kiosk / counter tablet | An Android tablet or an iPad in a stand or wall mount, locked to the menu with a kiosk-mode browser app (or iOS Guided Access on an iPad). | Your own tablet | Dispensary+ ($250/mo) — tablet menus in two styles |
| Portrait board or video wall | The same TVs and sticks, rotated; side-by-side TVs run in lockstep with sync mode, or as one giant screen off a single device. | Nothing extra | Dispensary Starter or Dispensary+ |
| Ordering kiosk (your POS vendor's) | Whatever the vendor specifies. Dutchie publishes 3 GB RAM, a 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU and 200 Mbps down; BLAZE's runs in any web browser and offers a 21.5-inch Microtouch all-in-one. | Set by the vendor | Not a GreenScreens product — runs alongside your GreenScreens menus |
Ordering-kiosk requirements are the vendors’ own, from Dutchie’s support center and blaze.me, as of October 2026; Flowhub does not publish a kiosk spec on its site. Prices are GreenScreens’ published pricing; stick prices are typical U.S. retail.
Works with your POS
One kiosk integration, every point of sale.
The kiosk uses the same POS connection as your TV boards, so there is nothing extra to integrate. These four vendors have a detail page; the compatibility matrix covers the rest.
Dutchie.
Dutchie sells an ordering kiosk (standard and Pro) and lists GreenScreens in its integrations directory under In-Store Menus. GreenScreens tablet menus and TV boards read Dutchie POS inventory directly — no E-Commerce package or separate kiosk integration required.
Dutchie integration details →Flowhub.
Flowhub Kiosk takes self-serve orders; GreenScreens runs the browse-and-decide screens around it from the same Maui inventory, and Flowhub hosts a GreenScreens digital-signage page in its partner directory.
Flowhub integration details →BLAZE.
BLAZE Self-Serve Kiosk and its Customer Facing Display handle ordering and checkout; GreenScreens handles the menus, promos, and signage. BLAZE lists GreenScreens in its partner directory under Digital Display.
BLAZE integration details →GrowFlow.
GrowFlow's seed-to-sale POS feeds GreenScreens tablet menus and TV boards with products, prices, stock, terpenes, and images, and GrowFlow hosts a GreenScreens integration page on its own site.

Cheap hardware, run like a fleet.
A $20 stick is only a bargain if you never have to drive to the store to fix it. Every kiosk and board is managed from one dashboard.
Kiosk-mode lockdown
Every tablet and TV runs locked to your menu — no home screen, no stray apps, nothing to tamper with on the floor. The device guide walks a new store through it in about fifteen steps.
Remote management
Reboot, screenshot, reassign, and push content to any kiosk or board from the dashboard — fix a frozen screen from your desk instead of driving to the store.
Screen analytics
A 72-hour per-device history proves each screen refreshed after a change, and the in-portal preview shows exactly what is on the wall — and why an item isn't.
Offline-safe
If the store's internet drops, a GreenScreens screen keeps showing the last good menu until the connection returns — not a black screen or a browser error.

What kiosk works with Dutchie, Flowhub, or BLAZE POS?
GreenScreens kiosk and tablet menus work with all three — and with every other cannabis POS we integrate with. The kiosk reads the same live POS sync as your TV menu boards, so what a customer browses on the tablet matches the wall and the register. If you also run your vendor's own ordering kiosk (Dutchie Kiosk, Flowhub Kiosk, or BLAZE Self-Serve Kiosk), the two sit side by side: the vendor's kiosk takes the order, GreenScreens runs the menus around it.
What is the best hardware for a dispensary kiosk?
For a browse-the-menu kiosk, an Android tablet or an iPad in a stand or wall mount, locked in kiosk mode — the GreenScreens tablet menu is a web page, so any tablet that can run a kiosk-mode browser works, and it reads your POS live. For the TV menu boards, a TV with Google TV and the Play Store runs the GreenScreens app directly, and any other TV just needs a ~$20 Google TV streaming stick such as Walmart's Onn, or a Fire TV device. For an ordering kiosk, use the hardware your POS vendor specifies — Dutchie, for example, publishes a 3 GB RAM / 2.2 GHz quad-core minimum.
Does a dispensary kiosk need a POS integration?
Yes — otherwise someone has to retype prices and stock by hand, and the kiosk drifts from the register within a day. GreenScreens kiosks and tablets read products, prices, THC/CBD, strain type, images, and live stock from 20+ cannabis POS systems and re-check every few minutes, so out-of-stock items drop off on their own. There is no separate kiosk integration to set up; the kiosk uses the same connection as your TV boards.
Can customers place orders on a GreenScreens kiosk?
No. GreenScreens kiosks and tablets are menus — customers browse strains, prices, cannabinoids, and stock, and a QR code can hand them off to your online ordering. Taking the order and the payment is your POS vendor's kiosk (Dutchie Kiosk, Flowhub Kiosk, BLAZE Self-Serve Kiosk). Running both is common: the vendor's kiosk for ordering, GreenScreens for the wall, the counter, QR, and print.
What is the best hardware for a dispensary TV menu board?
A TV with Google TV and the Play Store — any brand, any size, landscape or portrait — runs the GreenScreens app directly. For TVs that don't, a ~$20 Google TV streaming stick such as Walmart's Onn, or a Fire TV device, plugs into the HDMI port. Most dispensaries reuse the TVs they already own.
Do I need a proprietary media player for each screen?
No. GreenScreens never requires a vendor box per screen — watch for signage systems that do, because that is a device to buy, wait for, and replace on every TV, locked to one vendor. GreenScreens runs on Google TV, Fire TV, Android tablets, iPads, and ~$20 streaming sticks you can buy locally today.
How do I lock a tablet so customers can't leave the menu?
GreenScreens runs tablets and sticks in kiosk mode through a lockdown app (the device guide uses Fully Kiosk Browser): the screen boots into your menu, the home screen and other apps are hidden, and you manage the device remotely from the GreenScreens dashboard — reboot, screenshot, reassign, or push new content without touching it. On an iPad, a kiosk-mode browser app or iOS Guided Access does the same locking job.
Can I run the menu kiosk on an iPad?
Yes. The GreenScreens tablet menu is a web page, so an iPad in a stand with a kiosk-mode browser app — or iOS Guided Access — shows it the same way an Android tablet does, reading the same live POS sync. Android tablets are what our device guide walks through step by step; an iPad just needs the browser locked to the menu.
How much does a dispensary kiosk cost?
With GreenScreens, tablet menus are part of Dispensary+ at $250 per location per month, which also includes unlimited TV menu screens, print menus, and the promo content zone; TV menus alone are $150 per location per month on Dispensary Starter. Both carry a one-time $200 setup per location. Hardware is the Android tablet or iPad you supply for a kiosk and about $20 per TV for a streaming stick — and because pricing is per location, not per screen, adding a kiosk or a TV never raises the bill.
What happens to the kiosk when the internet drops?
A GreenScreens screen keeps showing the last good menu until the connection comes back, rather than a black screen or a browser error. Once it reconnects it re-checks the POS and catches up on any price or stock changes automatically.
How many kiosks and screens can I run?
As many as you want. Every GreenScreens plan includes unlimited screens per location, and multi-location operators manage every store's kiosks and boards from one account — one layout fleet-wide, or different layouts per store.
