Hardware Transition Instructions 


The following steps (also online at greenscreens.tv/transition) detail how to set up your new hardware devices for transitioning to the latest version of GreenScreens. If you have any questions or issues then please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@greenscreens.tv 


  1. Setup the device per the included manufacturer instruction manual. 

  2. Open the Google Play Store¹. 

  3. Search for the "Fully Kiosk Browser & Lockdown" app and download it. (note: select the reorder option to move the app to the beginning of the list for easier access in the future) 

  4. Open the Fully Kiosk app. 

  5. Accept the Default Start URL then click the "START USING FULLY" button. This will take you to the “Welcome to Fully Kiosk Browser” screen.  

  6. Hit the Back (arrow) button on the remote to open the side menu and click "Settings". 

  7. Scroll down and select the "Remote Administration" menu option. Toggle on the "Enable Remote Administration" option. 

  8. Select "Remote Admin Password" and set the password to "gsdevice" (all lowercase, no quotes). 

  9. Toggle on the "Remote Admin From Fully Cloud" option (if a popup box appears, click ACCEPT). 

  10. Hit the Back button once. Then scroll to the bottom and click "Other Settings". Then scroll down to "Dark Mode" (approximately 17 clicks) and select "Force Dark Mode Off". 

  11. Hit the back button twice – you’ll need to press OK when the "Permissions Required" box pops up. 

  12. Then press "Allow while using this app" on the subsequent permissions questions. Once done it will return to the "Welcome to Fully Kiosk Browser" screen. 

  13. Hit the back button for the left (settings) menu and note the "Device ID" in the bottom lefthand corner.  

  14. Restart the device by clicking the left arrow until menu slides out on the left, scroll down to "Exit Fully", select it to exit the app, then immediately reopen the app to restart it. 

  15. Please send all Device IDs via email (picture is preferred) to support@greenscreens.tv


¹If you get no results for the “Fully Kiosk Browser & Lockdown” app or are unable to find the Google Play Store app, then go to Settings (gearbox icon in the top right) → click “All Settings” → scroll down & select “Apps” → scroll down & select “See all apps” → scroll down & select “Show system apps” → scroll down until you see Google Play Store → select it → click the Open button.
