A Mother’s Journey: Special Edition for Mothers Day

Jun 21, 2021

As we enter into Mother’s Day weekend, we wanted to interview someone who not only plays an important part on our GreenScreens team, but also someone who was destined to be a mother but struggled. Like many of you, it’s become an unfortunate norm for partners to struggle with getting pregnant. We decided to share our COO, Amber Saba’s journey with you, hoping our readers who may be struggling the same way or have similar stories, will see the light at the end of the tunnel. We wish all of you who celebrate, a very Happy Mother’s Day.

Amber’s Journey for Ari and Frannie

My journey to motherhood was a challenging one. I am an IVF warrior, and I don’t believe there is anything in this life I have wanted more, than to be a mom. Infertility entered our lives in 2014…and took over. It is now a part of our legacy, and our children’s legacy. It is one aspect of my life that  has taught me more about who I am than any other experience thus far.

After years of trials, tears, and disappointments, I was FINALLY blessed with two beautiful babies who changed my life in an instant. The moment we met, my life had purpose. My children answered the age old question, “what is the meaning of life?” The answer is to know and give unconditional love, and it is something only a child can create. For more on my journey, you can follow my blog post at https://miraclestakealittletime.com/

The best parts about being a mom for me are:

  1. The way they look at me. It’s the look of complete trust, love and safety.

  2. Being the reason they smile or giggle. It is hands down the most amazing sound in the world, to hear them laugh

  3. Being their safe place. If they’re hurt or afraid, they look for me

  4. Getting to know them as little individuals. Their personalities fascinate me, and it’s just the beginning. I’m looking forward to the future, although I wish time would slow down just a little.

I hope this provides an outreach for women, and couples alike; I hope this brings you inspiration, support and compassion. Happy Mother’s Day my mom warriors!
